The author wrote this book after having served in the field of education for so many years, in so many roles. I know that my knowledge and experiences will be helpful and valuable to prospective educators, current and future leaders as they read about strategies and common-sense approaches as they navigate the daily challenges while attempting to focus on the “main thing,” teaching and learning. I was inspired to write based on the incidents occurring in the schools and felt compelled to provide a road map which would assist a “Boss” with issues they might face in a similar situation. Finally, I believe that all this knowledge and my many years of experiences should live far beyond the time they occurred. Thereby, I will be leaving a legacy beyond my years.
